Job Title: Mainframe Technical Lead (COBOL) Location: Toronto, Canada (Hybrid – 3 days/week onsite) Duration: 12 Months plus Please share the resume with me at pranay@burgeonits.com Job Description: We are hiring a Mainframe Technical Lead with 8+ years of experience in mainframe application development and 3+ years of team lead experience. The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on expertise in COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, and IMS, along with experience in application development, testing, production deployments, and release management. Experience in the Banking/Financial Services domain and working in Agile/Scrum environments is required. Mandatory Skills: 8+ years of Mainframe development experience Strong hands-on experience in COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, and IMS 3+ years of Technical Lead/Team Lead experience Mainframe application development, testing, and production deployment Agile/Scrum methodology Banking/Financial Services domain experience Excellent communication skills Good to Have: SYNCSORT, REXX, IBM Utilities, AWS Cloud.
