Role Description This is a paid, short-term contract role conducted remotely via video conference for a Paid Focus Group Participant – Action Game Preview. In this role, individuals will join a scheduled preview session and provide first-impression feedback on an in-development action game. Day-to-day responsibilities include attending a guided showcase of pre-release game content, participating in structured group discussions, and sharing opinions on visual direction, combat presentation, pacing, and overall player appeal. Participants may be asked to comment on art style, animation, audio design, user interface, and how engaging and intuitive the experience appears from a player's perspective. This position involves collaborating with facilitators and other participants to deliver constructive, honest, and detailed feedback that directly supports key design decisions during development. Qualifications Ability to clearly articulate opinions, observations, and suggestions in both written and verbal form. Comfort participating in group discussions and collaborating with a diverse group of participants. Strong attention to detail and ability to notice design inconsistencies, missed opportunities, or areas for improvement. Demonstrated interest in action games (e.g., Soulslike, character action, hack-and-slash) or interactive entertainment. Reliability in attending the scheduled session on time and following instructions from facilitators. Willingness to provide honest, unbiased feedback and maintain strict confidentiality about unreleased game content (NDA may be required). Stable internet connection, working microphone, and a quiet environment suitable for video conferencing. Eligibility to receive payment via [PayPal / bank transfer / your chosen method]. Previous experience in market research, playtesting, or focus groups is an asset but not required.
