Heavy General Labourer Responsibilities

Prepare concrete forms and install inserts Finish surfaces using trowels, grinders, and power tools Cut and place rebar wire Assist machine operators with handling concrete materials Remove finished products from moulds and perform quality inspections Apply stencils and decorative finishes Clean moulds, equipment, and work areas (sweeping, chipping, grinding) Occasionally clean inside concrete mixers wearing a fitted respirator Maintain a safe, organized, and productive workspace Work indoors (with some outdoor tasks) and adapt to shift changes as needed

Heavy General Labourer Qualifications

High school diploma Must have full G license / Class 5 driver’s license and reliable personal transportation 1 year of general labour, construction, or manufacturing experience (training provided) 1 year of experience in concrete, masonry, or heavy industrial work WHMIS, First Aid, or fall protection certification CSA-approved safety boots (ankle-covering); all other PPE provided Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding labour Comfortable working in dusty environments (not suitable for individuals with dust allergies) Must be clean-shaven when required for respirator use (e.g., cleaning mixers) No jewellery permitted in the facility Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts (day, afternoon, or night if applicable) Able to provide 2 professional references Ability to start immediately (next business day, if applicable)

Employment Details

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM or 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM Location: Oakville or Pulish (as applicable) Employment Type: Temporary role with possibility of extension or permanent placement, depending on business needs and performance
