Introduction: Robertson is seeking a skilled IT – Specialty Developer III to join our client in support of an existing vacancy.
Contract Period: 8 months with potential to extend or Convert Pay Rate: Starting from $70 per hour Location: Toronto, ON Location Type: Hybrid Business Hours: Monday-Friday, Core Business Hours
Job Responsibilities: Design, build, maintain, and optimize DevOps and CI/CD pipelines supporting iOS and Android mobile application delivery Leverage GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or equivalent automation tools to streamline build, test, deployment, and release processes Support and enhance Android and iOS build tool chains, ensuring reliable, scalable, and repeatable mobile build processes Develop and maintain scripts using Python, Bash, and related tooling to automate operational tasks, improve efficiency, and reduce manual effort Collaborate with development, SRE, DevOps, cloud engineering, and internal project teams to troubleshoot issues, support releases, and meet delivery timelines Monitor build and deployment processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements to increase stability, reliability, and performance Apply DevOps best practices across source control, branching strategies, configuration management, environment readiness, and release governance Support cloud-based engineering and deployment activities, with exposure to Azure Cloud, Azure App Services, networking, and deployment patterns such as Blue/Green or Active/Active considered an asset Contribute to AI-driven development initiatives and explore opportunities to improve automation, productivity, and platform capabilities Communicate effectively with stakeholders, remain organized and detail-oriented, and work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment Experience & Qualification Requirements: Bachelor’s in computer science degree required 5+ years of DevOps experience within a Developer, Site Reliability Engineer or DevOps specialist Experience in administrative MACOS (Mac Operating System) Deep knowledge of Git Hub Actions or Jenkins or equivalent Deep knowledge of Android and iOS build toolchains Scripting experience – Python, Bash Prior banking, or fintech experience Knowledge of Azure App Services Knowledge of networking Deep knowledge of cloud engineering/development within Azure Cloud Knowledge of deployment patterns – Blue/Green or Active/Active Knowledge of AI driven development How to Apply: If you are a motivated professional looking to contribute to a leading team, please submit your resume outlining your qualifications and experience relevant to this role.
