The Corporate Communications Analyst plays a hands-on role in delivering high-impact internal communications across the global organization. This is a one year contract wherein the incumbent is responsible for creating content, managing key channels and supporting major initiatives such as Quarterly Business Updates, Town Halls, and employee engagement programs that keep teams informed, aligned, and connected to Husky’s strategic priorities and global team members. Working closely with the Corporate Communications and Marketing teams and internal stakeholders, the Corporate Communications Analyst will create and coordinate content across multiple internal channels, support employee engagement initiatives, and assist in delivering key communications programs and events.

SALARY: $70K-80K

Temporary Full Time (12 month contract)

Key Responsibilities

Writing & Content

Write, edit, and publish clear, engaging internal communications for employees across the organization across a variety of channels. Create, manage, and coordinate content for internal channels including the intranet, email, digital screens, Viva Engage, Teams video, and virtual events. Lead day-to-day content creation and platform management for Husky’s Viva Engage, including posts and campaigns that drive employee participation. Manage and coordinate content for Husky’s digital screen network across North American and LATAM campuses, ensuring messaging is timely, relevant, and consistent. Support internal communications distributed through Unite, ensuring alignment with corporate priorities. Capture and manage photography for internal communications, company events, and employee storytelling initiatives. Contribute to the monthly external content calendar by coordinating internal inputs and supporting content planning as needed.

Coordination & Support

Manage the Corporate Communications inbox, responding to requests and coordinating support with internal stakeholders. Partner with internal clients to understand communication needs and provide guidance on messaging and channel approach. Coordinate and support the Viva Engage Ambassador network to amplify communications and engagement. Support pipeline and integration projects, including intranet or internal platform enhancements, through planning, testing, and adoption. Serve as a point of contact for global stakeholders within a shared services communications model. Maintain and update project management tools to ensure alignment, organization, and adherence to deadlines.

Events & Programs

Coordinate all elements of Quarterly Business Updates (QBUs), including scheduling, logistics, presentation support, communications, and leadership coordination. Support the planning and delivery of company Town Halls, both virtual and in-person. Coordinate the development and production of Husky Highlights (twice annually), including content, editing, and publishing. Provide internal communications support for marketing trade shows and events, ensuring employees are informed and aligned on key messaging. Contribute to special communications projects and campaigns tied to corporate events, partnerships, or sponsorship activations. Support the execution of Husky’s internal communications strategy and initiatives that reinforce culture, engagement, and shared values across the organization.

Reporting & Metrics

Track engagement metrics across internal channels and prepare quarterly reports with insights and recommendations to improve effectiveness. Maintain feedback mechanisms to gather employee input and support continuous improvement.

Professional Development

Participate in quarterly training or professional development sessions to build communications expertise and stay aligned with best practices.

Skills & Abilities

Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to tailor content for different audiences and channels. Strong organizational, project management, and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment. High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality. Demonstrated discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive or confidential information. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and collaborate across all levels of the organization. Proactive, resourceful, and solutions-oriented with a positive and flexible approach. Ability to work in office 5 days a week in Bolton, Ontario.

Qualifications

3 to 5 years of experience in corporate communications, internal communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field. Post-secondary education in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Business, or equivalent. Demonstrated experience writing and editing communications for corporate channels. Experience supporting internal events such as town halls, quarterly updates, or all-hands meetings. Familiarity with employee engagement platforms such as Viva Engage or similar tools. Experience supporting corporate events, campaigns, and communications programs, including measurement and analytics. An understanding of internal communications in a global environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint), Teams video and meeting functionality, and digital tools such as ScreenCloud or similar SaaS platforms. Experience with project management tools such as Trello to coordinate initiatives and track deliverables. Experience creating written and visual content, including photography and using Canva, is an asset. Experience managing digital screen networks is an asset.
