About the role

The Forensic Research Division is currently seeking a full-time, contract (12 months) Research Analyst. Reporting to the Research Operations Manager, Clinical Research and working under the supervision of the Division Scientists, your accountabilities will include collecting research data via patient interviews and chart review, as well as cleaning, coding and analyzing data. You will also be responsible for searching and retrieving electronic research resources, retrieving articles from the library and internet and synthesizing academic literature. You will be expected to support Division Scientists with grant applications, research ethics board submissions, conference presentations, posters and peer-reviewed journal articles. You may be involved with recruiting and interviewing clients in forensic hospital settings and liaising with staff members. Other research related duties may be assigned as required. You will support a healthy workplace that embraces diversity, encourages teamwork and complies with all applicable and regulatory requirements. This position is located at 1001 Queen Street West and requires on-site work. Occasional travel to correctional facilities within the Greater Toronto Area may be required.
