Requisition ID: 266452 Join a purpose driven winning team, committed to results, in an inclusive and high-performing culture.  Purpose   Support the execution the Scotiabank’s Community Investment strategy including delivering on the bank’s $500MM ScotiaRISE commitment through partnership development, community activation and operational support.     Is this role right for you? In this role, you will be involved in:   •    Manage day-to-day relationships with assigned community partners•    Coordinate donation requests and ensure policy compliance•    Maintain accurate records, reporting, and documentation•    Support community activations and employee engagement initiatives   Additional Responsibilities   

Support the evolution of community investment strategy –contribute to the ongoing development of the Community Investment and Social Impact strategy by gathering insights, monitoring trends, and bringing forward ideas that help inform priorities and strengthen program direction. Support alignment across the organization –collaborate with internal stakeholders to help connect Community Investment initiatives with broader organizational priorities, ensuring programs are well coordinated and effectively integrated across business lines. Collaborate with the Senior Manager to bridge internal stakeholders and ScotiaRISE community partners, identifying innovative partnerships and high‑impact community programs. Support ongoing Relationship management with charitable partners with the objective of prioritizing key activation opportunities. Prepare support materials required to review prospective opportunities and ccontribute towards renewal and/or exit strategies where required. Support the implementation of gift donation agreements in a timely manner in coordination with the charity, and internal departments such as Operations, Legal and Regional partners Support end to end partnership management, from initial onboarding through to periodic touchpoints, year end impact reporting, and fulfilling grant payment timelines. Assist with tracking and managing the portfolio’s budget and any other additional paperwork that must be completed (tax receipts, impact reports etc.).  Prepare briefs for internal stakeholders on ScotiaRISE community partnerships Leverage diverse communication tactics to drive brand attribution and elevate visibility at local and national levels.

We’d love to work with you if you have the following:  •    4+ years’ experience in a partnership and/or relationship management role or project management. Knowledge in project management, sustainability, and the corporate community investment landscape is considered an asset •    Strong project management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across a diverse network of partners, both inside and outside the bank.•    Excellent public speaking/presentation and written skills•    Confidence working with senior leaders•    Demonstrated ability to manage multiple large, complex and highly visible projects•    Indigenous Relations and contextual knowledge of Indigenous Peoples•    Fluent in French or Spanish is an asset•    Understanding of Spark/Benevity digital platforms considered an asset                             Working Conditions •    Work in a standard office-based environment; non-standard hours are a common occurrence.  Limited travel domestically   Location(s):  Canada : Ontario : Toronto Scotiabank is a leading bank in the Americas.
