Business Development Manager

The Role BX Studio is looking for a commercially minded Business Development Manager to drive new business growth. This role focuses on fielding inbound leads, holding discovery conversations, managing pipeline, developing project proposals, and partnering with internal teams to ensure a smooth handoff into delivery. The ideal candidate has experience selling website and SEO-focused digital agency services, has a detailed understanding of the business and technical aspects of websites, and is strong in communication, organisation, and stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities: ● Lead discovery and qualification conversations with prospective clients. ● Manage pipeline, follow-up, and opportunity progression. ● Coordinate proposals, scopes, and supporting sales materials. ● Build strong relationships with prospective clients. ● Partner with internal teams to align sales conversations with delivery capabilities. ● Ensure clear handoff and documentation once opportunities close. ● Provide regular pipeline updates and reporting.
Who You Are Required: ● 4-6 years of experience in business development, sales, partnerships, or account growth. ● Experience in a digital agency or similar environment. ● Experience selling digital agency services and managing opportunities through discovery, proposal, and close. ● Familiarity with general CMS (Webflow preferred). ● Experience using CRM tools for pipeline management and reporting. ● Experience using project management tools like Asana, Trello, Jira, or similar. ● Strong organisation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Bonus: ● Knowledge of basic HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. ● Understanding of UX/UI principles and SEO best practices. ● Experience contributing to proposals, scopes, or statements of work.
