Your New Role As a System Administrator, you will take ownership of core internal systems, focusing on identity and access management, SaaS platform administration, and continuous improvement through automation. You’ll work across a modern tool stack—primarily Google Workspace, Okta, and Slack—ensuring employees have secure, efficient access to the tools they need. Administer and optimize SaaS platforms including Google Workspace, Okta, Slack, and Jira Manage identity and access lifecycle (provisioning, deprovisioning, RBAC, SSO, MFA) Implement and maintain permissions frameworks and access controls Identify opportunities to improve workflows through automation, scripting, and AI tooling (e.g., Zapier, Claude, Gemini) Act as an escalation point for complex IT support issues Create and maintain technical documentation and runbooks for internal teams Support endpoint/device management across macOS and Windows environments Assist with network troubleshooting and vendor coordination when required Ensure all changes align with internal security and compliance policies
What You’ll Need to Succeed To be successful in this role, you’ll bring a blend of hands-on systems administration experience and a mindset focused on automation and continuous improvement. Must-have experience: 2+ years of experience in a System Administrator / IT Operations role Hands-on experience with: Okta (or similar IAM tools) Google Workspace administration SaaS ecosystem management (Slack, Jira, etc.) Strong understanding of: Identity and Access Management (IAM) User lifecycle processes (onboarding/offboarding) Experience supporting modern cloud-based environments (SaaS-first) Nice-to-have: Scripting experience (Python, PowerShell, or Bash) Exposure to automation tools (Zapier, AI tooling, workflows) Device management tools (Intune, Mosyle, Workspace ONE) Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, Wi-Fi troubleshooting) Exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
