About the Role Our consulting client is seeking a Business Systems Analyst – SBOM / Security Implementation with 3 to 5 years of experience to support a security-focused CNI team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience defining SBOM use cases, gathering business and technical requirements, and coordinating stakeholders across security, engineering, and procurement. In this role, you will support end-to-end SBOM implementation by documenting requirements, designing workflows, coordinating impacted teams, and supporting related security deployment activities, including Thinkst Canary deployment in cloud environments. Responsibilities Business Analysis Define SBOM, Software Bill of Materials, use cases and business requirements. Gather, document, and analyze requirements from multiple stakeholders. Design workflows and processes to support SBOM implementation. Translate business needs into clear requirements for technical teams. Stakeholder Coordination Coordinate stakeholders across security, engineering, and procurement teams. Create and deliver communications to affected teams and stakeholders. Ensure alignment between business needs and technical implementation. Manage expectations and maintain clear documentation throughout the project lifecycle. Additional Responsibilities Support Thinkst Canary deployment in cloud beyond the initial VMC environment deployment. Maintain comprehensive project documentation. Track and report on project progress, risks, dependencies, and key metrics. Required Skills / What You Bring 3 to 5 years of Business Analysis experience, preferably within a security or technology environment. Understanding of SBOM, Software Bill of Materials, concepts and use cases. Experience supporting implementation projects rather than purely operational BA work. Familiarity with security tools and deployment processes. Strong requirements gathering, documentation, and analysis skills. Ability to work with cross-functional teams across security, engineering, and procurement. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Detail-oriented approach to documentation, tracking, and stakeholder follow-up. Experience with Thinkst Canary is an asset. Compensation The hourly rate for this contract position is $49 per hour T4. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors.
