Reason for Posting: Posting is for a role with an existing vacancy Application Dates Opening Date: 2026-08-04 Closing Date: 2026-08-11 Job Description Position Summary: The Retail Shift Supervisor reports directly to the Retail Site Manager and is responsible for maintaining store operations performing daily functions/tasks and provide exemplary customer service in order to achieve sales budgets and maximize profit.

Qualifications: • Minimum grade 12 education • 1-3 years’ experience in retail sales and customer service • Excellent sales point of sale and cash balancing skills • Ability to prioritize tasks and take initiative • Proven display and merchandising skills • Excellent problem solving skills • Team oriented Responsibilities: Some of the responsibilities include: • Provide exemplary customer service • Provide accurate and efficient service at cash and comply with procedures for daily balancing of the Point of Sale System • Restocking in order to drive sale ensure prices are correct and signage is appropriate and in good condition • Participate in planning and executing of store set-up assists with preparation and count of the yearend inventory • Supervise and guide volunteers assign tasks and distribute their daily work • All other duties as assigned St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton (SJHH) is an equal opportunity employer and strives for equity, inclusiveness, and diversity in all our programs, practices, facilities, and people.
