Windows Server Engineer Vancouver, BC (Hybrid) 6-Month Contract (Extension Possible)

We are looking for an experienced Windows Server Engineer to support large-scale infrastructure modernization and cloud migration initiatives in a complex enterprise environment. What You'll Do Upgrade and modernize Windows Server environments. Migrate workloads from legacy servers to current supported platforms. Support Azure IaaS migration projects. Build, configure, test, and deploy Windows Server environments. Perform server upgrades, migrations, cutovers, and decommissioning activities. Support disaster recovery, backup/restore validation, and high-availability solutions. Implement server hardening, security controls, patching, and vulnerability remediation. Create technical documentation, runbooks, migration plans, and support procedures. Work closely with infrastructure, cloud, security, and application teams. Required Experience 10+ years of Windows Server administration and engineering experience. Strong experience with: Windows Server upgrades and migrations Active Directory DNS & DHCP Server builds and configuration Infrastructure troubleshooting Experience supporting highly available enterprise environments. Strong documentation and communication skills. Nice to Have Azure IaaS migration experience Azure certifications SCCM / Endpoint Management Microsoft Defender Disaster Recovery and High Availability VMware or virtualization experience ITIL / ITSM experience Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

Additional Information Hybrid work environment with occasional onsite meetings. Candidates must be Canadian Citizens or Permanent Residents. Security clearance required. Preference for candidates located in the Lower Mainland.
