Position Title: RFS1018750 - Solution Architect – Application (Microsoft 365) Location: Saskatchewan, Canada (Onsite Preferred; Remote Considered) Mode: Contract

Position Summary The successful candidate will be responsible for solution architecture, system design, security architecture, migration planning, procurement support, and implementation guidance across the Microsoft ecosystem. This role requires a strategic technical leader with extensive experience in Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, enterprise security, Zero Trust principles, and large-scale tenant migration initiatives.

Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain solution architecture models for both procurement (buy) and custom development (build) initiatives. Design, configure, implement, and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 services including Intune, Office 365, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Purview. Provide architecture guidance and quality assurance throughout project delivery lifecycles. Lead migration planning and execution activities, including tenant-to-tenant migrations and enterprise data migrations. Design and implement Zero Trust security architectures and enterprise security controls. Configure and manage Microsoft Purview sensitivity labels, data classification policies, and alerting mechanisms. Produce comprehensive system architecture, integration, and security documentation. Collaborate with technical teams, project stakeholders, and business units to develop optimal technology solutions. Support Azure DevOps processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure adherence to enterprise architecture standards, governance frameworks, and IT service management practices.

Mandatory Qualifications & Certifications Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (Required). TOGAF Certification (Required). ITIL Certification (Required). Minimum 5 years of expert-level experience designing, implementing, configuring, and troubleshooting Microsoft 365 technologies, including: SharePoint Online Microsoft Purview Expert knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps. Proven experience executing tenant-to-tenant migration projects. Hands-on experience configuring sensitivity labels and compliance alerting within Microsoft Purview. Strong understanding and implementation experience with Zero Trust Architecture principles.

Preferred Qualifications Azure Security Engineer certification. Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience. Previous experience supporting Government or Crown Corporation environments. Experience working within utility, energy, or other highly regulated industries. Nuclear industry experience is considered an asset. Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
