About the Role

As a Traffic Control Security Guard, you'll help ensure the safe and efficient movement of vehicles and pedestrians while maintaining a professional security presence on site. This is a public-facing position where professionalism, communication, and customer service are essential.

Responsibilities

Direct vehicle and pedestrian traffic safely and efficiently Maintain a professional and visible security presence Monitor site activity and report incidents, hazards, or suspicious activity Assist with traffic flow and daily site operations Provide courteous, professional customer service Communicate effectively with staff, contractors, visitors, and members of the public Follow all site safety and security procedures

What We're Looking For

We're looking for Security Guards who are: Dependable and punctual Professional and respectful Calm under pressure Customer service focused Strong communicators Comfortable working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, including hot summer temperatures. Able to work independently while remaining part of a team

Requirements

Valid Ontario Security Guard License (Required) Valid CPR Certification (Required) Reliable transportation to and from the work site Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Strong communication and interpersonal skills Previous security or traffic control experience is considered an asset
