We are currently seeking a Regional Employee Services Advisor to join our Employee Services team for a 12 month Contract on a hybrid schedule. Reporting to the assigned Regional Employee Services Manager, the Regional Employee Services Advisor provides experienced Human Resources - support to leaders and employees across Performance Auto Group’s Brampton Region. As a member of the Employee Services Operations Centre of Excellence, the Regional Employee Services Advisor serves as a trusted resource to managers on employee relations, performance management, progressive discipline, workplace investigations, attendance concerns, policy interpretation, accommodations, leaves of absence, and other employment-related matters. The Advisor is responsible for providing timely, practical, and consistent guidance while identifying and escalating complex, high-risk, or precedent-setting matters to the Regional Employee Services Manager, Director of Employee Services, or Legal team as appropriate. The role also supports the day-to-day delivery of regional Employee Services operations, including employee lifecycle processes, employment documentation, compliance, health and safety coordination, disability management, employee data integrity, and the continued transition to UKG Pro.   1. Employee Relations Provide day-to-day Employee Services support to leaders across assigned regional locations. Advise managers on employee relations matters, including performance management, attendance, progressive discipline, workplace conflict, policy interpretation, and employment practices. Conduct workplace investigations and prepare related documentation. Escalate complex or high-risk matters to the Regional Employee Services Manager, Director of Employee Services, or Legal team as appropriate.
  2. Employee Compliance Support compliance with employment legislation, organizational policies, and Employee Services procedures. Provide guidance to managers on the consistent application of policies and employment practices. Assist with the implementation of new policies, processes, and compliance initiatives.
  3. Disability Management and Employee Support Support accommodation, return-to-work, disability, and leave management processes in collaboration with leaders, employees, and internal subject matter experts. Partner with the Group Safety and Disability Specialist and Total Rewards team on employee support matters as required.
  4. Regional Employee Services Operations Support the delivery of employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, employment changes, offboarding, and employment documentation. Respond to employee and manager inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Work collaboratively with Employee Services Coordinators and other Centres of Excellence to deliver a consistent employee experience.
  5. Data, Process Improvement and HCM Implementation Maintain accurate employee records, documentation, and regional reporting. Support the implementation and adoption of UKG Pro, including testing, training, process validation, and change management activities as assigned. Identify opportunities to improve processes, service delivery, and operational efficiency to enhance the employee experience. Participate in Employee Services projects and continuous improvement initiatives. Other duties as assigned by management. What do you need to succeed? Post-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or a related field. CHRP designation or active pursuit of a CHRP designation is preferred. Minimum 4-5 years of progressive Human Resources Generalist level experience. Demonstrated experience advising managers on performance management, progressive discipline, workplace conflict, attendance, and policy interpretation. Experience conducting or supporting workplace investigations. Strong working knowledge of Ontario employment legislation and Human Resources best practices. Experience supporting multi-site operations is strongly preferred. Automotive, retail, hospitality, or another fast-paced, customer-facing industry experience is considered an asset. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated experience preparing disciplinary documentation, investigation records, employment letters, and professional correspondence. Sound judgment and the ability to recognize and escalate higher-risk employment matters. Strong organization and case management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines. High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and emotional intelligence. Proficiency with Google Workspace and Human Capital Management or Human Resources Information Systems. Experience using or supporting UKG Pro is considered an asset. Availability to work on a Hybrid schedule. Valid G driver’s licence with good driving record and access to reliable transportation are required for regional travel. What’s in it for you? Job Type: Full Time - Temporary (12 month contract) Compensation (expected annual salary): $65,000 - $80,000 per year. The starting salary will be set within this range based on job-related factors such as relevant skills and experience.
