You’ll be part of our team specialized in mechanical engineering working in the mining and metals sector and related heavy industries. You’ll be exposed to a variety of situations to help develop your technical skills. You’ll also have the opportunity to work on diverse projects under the supervision of experienced engineers.

• Assist experienced staff with the technical aspects of complex tasks

• Perform technical studies and quality control and prepare technical reports

• Write documents in accordance with our corporate quality system requirements

• Prepare plans and specifications for mechanical and piping mandates based on established guidelines

• Perform detailed calculations

• Perform in-plant technical information surveys, as needed

Overview of job requirements

• Ongoing undergraduate program in mechanical engineering
• Strong skills in communication and in writing reports in French
• Advanced proficient in French (spoken and written)
• Intermediate proficiency in English to ensure effective collaboration with BBA offices and clients outside Québec[LR1]
• Asset: proficiency with 3D design software (e.g., SolidWorks)
• Asset: experience in the heavy industry sector (mining, petrochemicals, energy, etc.)
