Position Status

This is a 12 months fixed term contract (FTC) position . This job posting reflects a current vacancy within the organization. The position is active, approved, and intended to be filled as part of our staffing needs. This posting is for an existing and currently open position.

General Desciption

Responsible for operating and monitoring packaging equipment in compliance with GMP, SOP, and safety standards within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operation of production equipment in Primary and Secondary areas, according to GMPs, SOPs, and safety requirements.
• Lead and/or participate in all line changeover activities including equipment changes.
• Perform related computer tasks: SAP, IMS.
• Prepare and complete all documentation applicable to production i.e., packaging instructions and incident checklists.
• Clean equipment, rooms, and general areas for production use.
• Write and/or revise SOPs for new equipment and/or processes.
• Participate in internal and external quality audits.
• Participate in quality and customer complaint investigations.
• Lead and/or participate in process improvement initiatives.
• Work in other Manufacturing/Packaging areas as required.

Education

Required:

• High School or equivalent.

Experience & Skills

• Working knowledge of packaging production equipment and understanding of packaging processes.
• Knowledge and experience with IMS and SAP production transactions or similar operation systems.
• Highly motivated, conscientious, self-managed team player, with experience working in a production team environment.
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
• Other computer skills such as word and excel are highly desirable.
• Ability to use and understand automation solutions such as IP21, eBRS, CDISY, FreeWeigh,etc.

Working Conditions

• On site role.
• Standrad 40 hour work week.
• Must be availbale for rotating shifts, including days, afternoons, nights, and weekends, with weekly rotations.

Compensation Range

$46,430 - $58,040
