About the role
Job Summary We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage daily administrative tasks, support office operations, and ensure smooth communication across departments. This is a contract position with possibility for permeant position.
Responsibilities
- Manage front desk operations, including greeting visitors and answering multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy
- Perform data entry, filing, and document proofreading to ensure accuracy and organization
- Utilize software such as Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and other relevant tools for scheduling, and correspondence
- Support customer service efforts by addressing inquiries and providing support via phone or email
- Assist with administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling, calendar management, and record keeping
- Maintain office supplies inventory and coordinate with vendors as needed
- Uphold excellent phone etiquette and organizational skills to ensure efficient office workflow
Experience
- Prior office experience is required; experience in construction field is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), and computer skills related to data entry and clerical tasks
- Experience with front desk responsibilities and multi-line phone systems
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in proofreading and document management
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional demeanor and phone etiquette
- Previous experience in construction and HVAC office environments is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for specific duties
Pay: $17.20-$25.00 per hour
