Role: Grocery Associate (Remote) Location: Remote (Work from Anywhere) Job Type: Contract Payout: $35 - $50/hour

Role Overview: We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Retail Generalists (Grocery) to work on a contract basis. This role involves performing a variety of tasks across grocery retail operations, including stocking, customer service, and inventory management. The position requires adaptability to handle different store tasks as assigned.

Key Responsibilities: • Perform stocking duties by unloading deliveries, rotating stock, and organizing shelves to maintain product availability and store presentation. • Assist customers with locating products, answering questions about grocery items, and providing accurate pricing information. • Operate cash registers, process transactions, and manage payment handling while ensuring adherence to cash handling procedures. • Conduct inventory counts, report discrepancies, and support cycle counting to maintain accurate stock levels. • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure compliance with health regulations in grocery storage and display areas.

Required Skills & Qualifications: • Experience in grocery retail or a related customer-facing role is required. • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. • Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory tracking. • Familiarity with retail POS systems and inventory management tools. • Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively.
