About the Role The Senior Administrator – Azure DevOps & Terraform will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure solutions utilizing Azure, Terraform, and Kubernetes technologies. This position is critical to ensuring secure, scalable, and high-performing environments .
Responsibilities Design, automate, and manage cloud infrastructure deployments using Terraform and Azure DevOps. Implement and enforce security controls across IaaS and PaaS offerings on Azure. Manage and optimize Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters, ensuring reliability and scalability. Support and troubleshoot cloud-native and containerized applications, resolving deployment obstacles and performance issues. Collaborate with engineering, sales, and customer teams as a subject matter expert to deliver technical solutions and guidance. Develop and maintain Policy as Code frameworks (e.g., Sentinel) to ensure compliance and governance. Integrate and monitor logging, metrics, and analytics tools to maintain visibility and operational excellence. Champion agile practices, software configuration, and framework development within the cloud ecosystem. Provide support for production systems at scale, ensuring high availability and resilience. Contribute to business analysis, product knowledge, and analytical thinking to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent work experience.
Required Skills 1–5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure automation using Terraform and Policy as Code frameworks such as Sentinel. Proven expertise in Azure DevOps, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), IaaS and PaaS on Azure. Strong understanding of public cloud foundational offerings (AWS/GCP): IAM, VPC, cloud logging, security controls, storage, and compute. In-depth knowledge of public cloud native services: serverless computing, big data, analytics platforms (e.g., Dataproc, Composer, Dataflow, BigQuery). Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages such as Java, Go, or Python. Experience in container orchestration technologies: GKE, EKS, open-source Kubernetes. Familiarity with logging and monitoring tools (Cloud Logging, metrics, XQL). Demonstrated ability to interpret and solve technical and business challenges. Experience supporting production environments at scale. Strong analytical skills, business analysis, and agile methodology expertise.
Preferred Skills FinOps domain knowledge is preferred. Willingness to quickly learn and adopt new technologies. Certifications in Azure, Terraform, Kubernetes, or related technologies are an advantage. Experience with Google Cloud and its native offerings is a plus.
