HIL
Driveline system development and validation focuses on the integration of driveline system into a vehicle architecture including the functional performance of the system as required for the vehicle to meet its designated mission.
- Onsite technical support at ARDC, Windsor for HIL / DIL development, commissioning, and testing.
- Establishing a cross functional team involved in the design and validation of the components and subsystem comprising the driveline.
- Creating the development and validation plan.
- Perform Driver-in-loop and Hardware-in-loop validation.
- Develop feasibility assessment and implementation plan including schedule of conversion from vehicle to virtual for each development activity or test.
- Troubleshoot HIL and DIL test setups.
- Implement HIL and DIL integration.
- Modeling development consistent with Stellantis Framework .
- Material Procurement: Controllers, connector/terminals/cables, Harnesses etc.
- Test property basic functional test check outs, and Control Desk function check out, and commissioning report (Release notes)
- Review and analyze Vehicle System Documentation to capture in the overall testing and timing requirements.
- HIL Simulation open loop commissioning (IO checkout, PC setup, etc.) & Closed loop Commissioning ( HILs, ECU, load devices, FIU, etc.).
- Ability to interface well with other team members (both internal and external)
- Preference will be given to Canadian citizens.
Technical Skills:
- Good knowledge and working experience of Propulsion system Powertrain both ICE and Hybrid/BEV/PHEV
- Plant model development (Matlab/Simulink).
- Good knowledge and working experience on dSPACE Hardware/Software and tools.
- Knowledge of Automotive Vehicle Networks and protocols (CAN, LIN & Ethernet) and associated diagnostic/communication tools CANoe, Canalyzer, etc with associated documentation (DBC, LDFs, ARXMLs and vehicle architecture definitions)
- Ability to use instrumentation mentioned in this document and other basic instrumentation / equipment
- Knowledge of Vehicle ECUs (Electronic Control Units) and interaction/interface among them.
- Knowledge in tools such as INCA, ControlDesk, ConfigurationDesk, Vector, etc.
- Ability to read electrical diagrams and schematics.
- Measurement and analysis tools (Oscilloscope, protocol analyzer, etc.)
- Familiar with Automotive processes/tools such as System FMEA, DVP&R and/or equivalent quality and reliability tools
- Knowledge of electrification vehicle level system
Education:
- BSEE, or BS in computer engineering
The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $28.08/hour - $53.88/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
