Job Description The knowledge of a great Concierge is the expectation of our Guests when staying at Fairmont Hotels & Resorts. Your ability to anticipate Guests’ needs and make informed suggestions will ensure they have a truly memorable stay. This is a casual seasonal position running from November to end of March. Starting Rate of Pay: $21.30 per hour We recognize tenure through our compensation - hourly rates increase after 6 months and then yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $26.30 Job Duties Include Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service Assist guests with mail, messages, and any plans or arrangements they require Assist with any plans or arrangements the guest intends to make during their stay Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way Follow department policies, procedures and service standards Qualifications Previous customer related experience an asset, ideally in a Concierge role Must possess a professional presentation Must possess outstanding guest services skills and sophisticated verbal & written communication skills Job Perks & Benefits Subsidized staff accommodation provided Complimentary meal in our staff cafeteria per shift Access to our Employee Travel Program, with discounts on room rates and food & beverage at Fairmont & Accor properties worldwide Additional Information Visa Requirements: To progress with your application, you must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
